Do It Center Expands in Papagayo

The Papagayo Do It Center, in the northwestern province of Guanacaste, is expanding to offer a wider range of services.

The 6,000-square-meter home-improvement store, which features 20,000 products from hardware and garden tools to sporting goods, is now flanked by a commercial center, with a bank and a three-story office building soon to follow. Banco Cuscatlán, which now operates inside the Do It Center, plans to move to the new 280-square-meter banking facility, which will include drive through banking and an automatic teller machine, according to a statement from the Do It Center.

The Law office Montejo & Asociados and realtors Do It Realty, also located in the store, will move to the office building, still under construction, Ana Hernández of the Do It Center told The Tico Times this week. Companies continuing to operate inside the original store include Panalex, TIPS, Importadora Monge, Tropical House and Cortinas Calderón.

The new commercial center will be inaugurated today.
