Seminar to Promote Nicaragua in Costa Rica

MANAGUA – In an effort to further tap into Costa Rica’s healthy development and real estate market, Nicaragua’s investment promotion agency, ProNicaragua, will be holding a promotional seminar March 20 in San José’s Hotel Real Intercontinental.

The seminar, entitled “Investing in Nicaragua: Complementing Your Tourism Market,” will feature a keynote address by Mario Salinas, executive president of the Nicaraguan Tourism Institute (INTUR), as well as representatives from Nicaragua’s real estate and development sector.

The seminar, scheduled from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, will address such topics as investment opportunities in the hotel industry, real estate hotspots, how to purchase property, and insights into the construction and tourism sectors. The seminar will conclude with testimonials, a questionand-answer session and a cultural event.

The seminar is part of the new administration’s strategy to increase promotional activity in Costa Rica and the rest of Central America, which, as a bloc, is one of the most important tourism markets for Nicaragua, alongside the United States.

For reservations, call ProNicaragua in Managua at (505) 270-6400.
