Costa Rica President Alvarado Tests Positive for Covid-19

The President of Costa Rica, Carlos Alvarado Quesada, on Wednesday felt some mild symptoms of COVID-19 and decided to take a PCR test, unfortunately the test results were positive and is now in isolation at home.

The president is doing well and taking the necessary precautions that were recommended to him by his doctors

Naturally, while the President is in seclusion he will not participate in any face-to-face activities but will continue with his agenda virtually.

On his Facebook page let everyone his current status

I have received a positive result for COVID-19. I have both doses of the vaccine, I feel well and have only mild symptoms. I will be following the measures established by the Ministry of Health. Let’s take care of ourselves and get vaccinated.

As of now it is still unknown if any other member of the cabinet has tested positive or if any member should be isolated as a precaution.
