Corcovado Foundation hosting ‘jungle party’ in San José

Imagine going to a jungle party in the city!

On Oct. 30, the Children’s Museum will become a rainforest as it hosts a Corcovado Foundation fundraising event benefiting its Environmental Education Program.

The band Marfil will be in charge of adding flavor to the night, which will include food tastings from restaurants such as Saga, Casa Pasta and Sofía Mediterráneo.

The activity will welcome guests including National Geographic’s Filipe De Andrade, Tourism Minister María Amalia Revelo and Environment Minister Carlos Manuel Rodríguez.

All proceeds will be used to finance the Corcovado Foundation’s Environmental Education program.

Over its 16 years, the Environmental Education Program has worked with schools on the Osa Peninsula to teach children about the importance of environmental stewardship.

Don’t miss the opportunity to attend a party with purpose, and help open doors to these children from rural communities who need your support.

The cost of admission is a donation of $50 before October 15, which includes food and drinks. Purchase tickets online here

The event will also feature a variety of auctions with tour packages, plane tickets, gift baskets, all starting at 30% of their retail value.

For more information you can contact zoraida@fundacioncorcovado.org or call 2297-3013. See more information on the Facebook and Instagram pages of the Corcovado Foundation.
