The University of Costa Rica celebrated World Environment Day last June 5 with a “Smoke-Free Day.” Only zero-emission vehicles were allowed to enter the campus. Additionally, the university hosted lectures about topics like recycling and planting trees and featured an art exhibition made of recycled materials.
