Chile, Costa Rica join forces on environmental issues, gender equality

The agreements included a memorandum of understanding to develop joint programs between the two countries’ ministries of the environment on biodiversity, climate change and environmental data. Other issues included in the bilateral agreements were gender equality, equal rights and zero-tolerance for violence against women, according to AFP.
