Costa Rican band 424 caps off year with new single, video and concert

The Costa Rican band 424 is celebrating a momentous year with the release of their new single and video, as well as a concert at Hoxton Pub in Los Yoses at 9 pm tonight.

During the first half of the year, 424 performed in some of the most important Latin American festivals, such as Estéreo Picnic in Bogotá and Vive Latino in Mexico D.F. The band then returned to Costa Rica to continue with several projects such as their participation in Conquista Sessions.

424’s recently released single, Lógica, has been well received by audiences, and demonstrates the band’s new perspective on music: it avoids the formula used on their debut album, Oro, and offers fresh and catchy sound while maintaining the band’s characteristic electric and ethereal quality. The band promises to astonish its audience with their new video.

The rock band Voodoo will be playing along with 424 as the opening act of the night.

Concert and CD release Nov. 4 at 9 pm, Hoxton Pub, Los Yoses, ₡4,000 ($8). For more information visit 424’s Facebook page.
