‘The Nutcracker’ comes to town

Ballet dancer Arianne Dietrich performa as “Clara” in the musical “The Nutcracker,” on Saturday, Dec. 6. Directed by Patricia Carreras and María Amalia Pendones, and presented at the National Theater in San José, “The Nutcracker” will be run from Dec. 5-14, Tue.-Fri., 8 p.m.; Sat., 3 & 8 p.m.; Sun., 11 & 5 p.m. Tickets are ₡16,000-32,000 ($32-64).
