And now entering the match for Costa Rica … President Luis Guillermo Solís

President Luis Guillermo Solís sprints out onto the field to join La Sele for a team photo at Proyecto Goal in Belén. Solís received an early morning tour of the Costa Rica Football Federation’s practice facilities on Friday morning after arriving at 6:30. The president, wearing a red La Sele jersey throughout his stay, wished the team good luck and joined players and coaches for breakfast. Costa Rica’s national team leaves Saturday for the United States to play two friendlies in preparation for the World Cup that starts June 12 in Brazil.
