Tickets on sale for Costa Rica’s final World Cup warm-up against Ireland in Philadelphia

First, the opponent changed. Then the city and the date got adjusted. But at last, all the information is out about Costa Rica’s final international friendly before the World Cup.

Costa Rica will meet Ireland in Philadelphia on June 6 at PPL Park at 8 p.m. If you’re in the area and want to catch La Sele’s last World Cup warm-up, tickets went on sale today. Tickets start at $40, and can be purchased through ComcastTIX.com or by calling 1-800-298-4200.

Ireland failed to qualify for the World Cup, which begins June 12. However Costa Rica officials believe the clash with the Irish will help prepare the team for its World Cup match against England on June 24.

Costa Rica and Ireland have never met before in international play.
