This year’s traditional Angel of Love  Fundraising Christmas Concert, hosted by the Little Theatre Group (LTG) in support of the Tom & NormanHome for the abandoned, will be Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. at Restaurant Casa 76 in Santa Ana, southwest of San José.

For the eighth consecutive year, string quartet El Ebano – made up of Ana Alfaro, Gabriela Alfaro, Catherine Hayes and Mercedes Rodríguez of the National Symphony – have volunteered their time and talent to entertain with a mix of classical and seasonal melodies.

Lunch will be served beginning at noon, but no meal service will be offered during the concert. Admission is free, but cash donations to help the home are welcome. For lunch reservations, call Casa 76 at 2282-8619.

The following day, Dec. 13, at noon, the home’s new chapel will be inaugurated in the Caribbean-slope community of La Rita de Guápiles. The chapel includes artwork donated by bamboo artisan Brian Erickson, stained glass artist Harry Liang and local craft painter Elizabeth Pérez. The chapel’s inaugural ceremony is open to all. A bus is being organized to transport guests.

For more information about the concert or the chapel opening, call the LTG box office at 8858-1446 or visit www.littletheatregroup.org.
