Costa Rica´s Inter-American Highway South will be closed today and tomorrow for road work at La Cangreja, Kilometer 34, south of Cartago, the National Roadway Council said.
The council offers the following alternate routes: Desamparados-Tarbaca-La Fila-Río Conejo-Frailes-San Cristóbal Sur- Route 2 (Km 45)
Desamparados-Tarbaca-La Fila-Río Conejo-Frailes-Los Santes-Route 2 (in El Empalme).
Or, motorists can take the Costanera Sur coastal road (San José-Alajuela-Quepos-Dominical-Palmar Norte).
