5 Bodies Found In Southern Dump

Police and judicial authorities in Costa Rica found Wednesday five bodies bound hand and foot at an informal trash dump in the southern municipality of Ciudad Neilly.
Jorge Rojas, director of the Judicial Investigation Police, said on TV Channel 7 that they were men’s bodies and at least three of them had been shot in the head.
The authorities still have not identified the dead and are currently analyzing the crime scene in Ciudad Neilly, some 30 kilometers west of the Panama border.
According to Rojas, the bodies were not in a state of decomposition, indicating that the crimes could have been committed as recently as a few hours before.
According to the daily La Nación, the bodies were laid out in a line, face down, bound hand and foot. They were found by a man rummaging for trash to recycle. He then told the police.
