Action Hottest On Northern Pacific Coast

Gamefisher II captain Richard Chellemi reports that the water on the northern Pacific coast has cleaned up in the past few days, and as of Monday he and other skippers that fish out of Tamarindo and Flamingo have been scoring a handful of sails and a marlin or two every day.

We assume the fishing south of there, out of Carrillo, is about the same, but received no reports from that area this week.

On the central Pacific coast, Quepos action has been slow, with some of the boats from that region currently fishing out of Tamarindo, while farther south in the Golfito area weather has been overcast with light winds and late afternoon rains.

No reports from Barra Colorado on the northern Caribbean coast, where Río Colorado Lodge operator Dan Wise is out of the country.
