Magnitude-4.3 temblor shakes Nicaragua’s Pacific coast

MANAGUA – An earthquake measuring magnitude-4.3 on Monday shook the Pacific coast of Nicaragua, without causing injuries or damage, said the Nicaraguan Institute of Territorial Studies (INETER).

The temblor was felt at 8:35 a.m. local time and originated at a 120-km depth, due to the collision between Cocos and Caribbean plates that cross the region, INETER said in a statement.
