Costa Rican business executives do not look favorably upon the government of President Laura Chinchilla, according to the sixth annual “Business Barometer,” conducted by consultant firm Deloitte from Sept. 6-Oct. 8.
The study consulted 132 leaders of major companies operating in the country, and found that 57.4 percent said they disapproved of the government’s management of the country.
Also, 31.7 percent said they neither approve nor disapprove, while only 10.9 percent of respondents gave a positive assessment.
The trend continues from a previous study by Deloitte in April – the fifth version of the barometer – which showed that 57.9 percent of business executives disapproved of Chinchilla’s administration.
