Over the last few days in Golfito and Crocodile Bay Lodge in Puerto Jiménez, marlin, yellow fin tuna and dorado have been biting, but not sailfish.

Inshore, roosters, snapper and Crevalle jack have been showing up as was expected with the weather change.

Reports indicate there may be some red tide in the Quepos area, still, marlin, sailfish and dorado have been coming to the party. Unfortunately, yellow fin tuna and wahoo seem to have taken a Christmas vacation.

The beginning of summer has brought more jacks, snapper and mackerel inshore, as well as roosterfish on this rocky coast.

Fish are still following the current north from Guiones up to Papagayo, including marlin, sailfish and dorados.

The water color has been changing with the northern wind, the inshore is has always been excellent in the area.
