EACH year on Valentine’s Day, the “Have aHeart” golf tournament raises money for schools inVillarreal, Santa Cruz, in the northwestern provinceof Guanacaste. The cost to enter is $99 per golfer andincludes golf, cart and awards luncheon.The pre-registration party is Saturday, Feb. 12,from 6-9 p.m., at Villa Alegre Bed & Breakfast inPlaya Langosta, Tamarindo. The golf tournamentwill take place Monday, Feb. 14, at the HaciendaPinilla Golf Course (680-3000), south of Tamarindo;tee-off time is 7:30 a.m.
