Black Eyed Peas Hip-Hop into Costa Rica

It’s been confirmed. Los Angeles hip-pop quartet the Black Eyed Peas will shake Costa Ricans’ bum bummas Nov. 21 at Ricardo Saprissa Stadium in Tibás, north of San José.

The group, famous for catchy hits such as “Hey Mama,” “Shut Up” and “Let’s Get It Started” will stop in Costa Rica as part of its Latin American tour, which includes shows in Brazil, Chile and Argentina, according to the event promoter Evenpro’s Web site.

Tickets went on sale Oct. 26 at Sapri stores (Saprissa soccer team’s official stores) in the western San José district of Pavas, the southern suburb of Desamparados and Tibás, according to a statement from Producciones Benapres.

Tickets can also be purchased at Multiplaza Escazú, west of San José; Multiplaza del Este in the southeastern district of Zapote; at select Hipermás, Más x Menos and Maxibodega supermarkets; online at www.specialticket.net; or by calling 206-7770. Ticket prices range from ¢7,000-35,000 (about $13-68).
