Expoarte National Art Fair Set for June 1-3

Expoarte, a national fair for Costa Rican art, will be held June 1-3 at the PlazaRealCariariExpoCenter in Cariari, northwest of San José.

The fair promises a wide range of events for entertainment and learning, including art workshops, concerts, gourmet product tastings and a kids’ corner, according to a statement from event organizers.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and see the works of Costa Rican painters, sculptors, musicians and photographers, as well as the works of foreign artists who live in the country, at more than 160 stands. Galleries, frame shops, art schools, bookstores and others will also be represented. The stands will be open to the public June 1, 1-8 p.m., June 2, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and June 3, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
