Tico Times Web Site Now Offers Photo Galleries

The Tico Times’Web site, www.ticotimes.net, is spotlighting some spectacular photography in our new online photo galleries, launched May 18.

This section of our Web site, reached by clicking on “Photo Galleries” on the left-hand menu bar on our home page, includes two photo galleries: The Tico Times’ Best Photos and a Reader Photo Gallery.

The Tico Times gallery features a selection of our best photos of news events, nature and Costa Rican culture. Viewers can enjoy flipping through these unique photos, and digital copies are available for purchase.

The Reader Photo Gallery is an interactive space through which readers can share their photos. You can submit your photos for review by filling out a simple form and uploading as many as six photos at a time.

We will promptly post photos we receive provided they meet a few simple guidelines explained on the site.

Reader photos are grouped into the categories of news, community events, people, animals and nature, making this a great place for groups to post photos of their events and for residents and tourists to share their favorite shots.

Readers are encouraged to submit their photos and to visit the site regularly to check out other readers’ photos and updated Tico Times photos.

For more information about our online photo galleries, e-mail photogalleries@ticotimes.net.
