The National Symphony Orchestra is now selling season tickets for its 2006 season, which will open March 24 with a concert dedicated to Tchaikovsky.
Invited musicians this year include violinists Dylana Jenson and Akiko Ono, cellist Bernhard Naoki Hedenborg and pianists Jacques Sagot, Sergio Sandí and Carlos Quesada, among others.
Conductor Chosei Komatsu will return as director for seven of the season’s 12 concerts, and composers honored will include Mozart, Bruckner, Glinka, Mahler, Prokofiev, Mendelssohn and Bruch.
A 15% discount is offered to those buying a set of tickets to all 12 concerts.
Prices range from ¢1,000-7,000 ($2-14) per concert, and from ¢10,200-71,400 ($20-143) for season tickets.
