U.S. Embassy Offers Tax Specialist’s Advice

U.S. citizens in need of tax advice, take note: an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax assistance specialist will visit the U.S. Embassy in San José next month to offer free consultations.

On Friday, March 2, from 8:20 a.m.-4 p.m., and Monday, March 5, from 8:20 a.m.-12 p.m., the specialist will offer tax advice to U.S. citizens with appointments. To make an appointment, call 519-2000, extension 2294.

According to a statement from the embassy, in the western suburb of Pavas, appointment-holders will need a photo ID to gain entrance to the building, and should prepare their questions in advance, since the specialist’s time will be limited.
