Group Prepares Costa Rica Business Week Report

In efforts to inform people about foreign direct investment in Costa Rica, the British journalism group Business Focus is in the country working on a special economic report on Costa Rica to run in Business Week magazine.

The report, which will have a focus on real estate, aims to raise the profile of Costa Rica in the international business community and inform investors of business opportunities in the emerging market.

The group hopes the release of the economic and investment report in Business Week will coincide with the Legislative Assembly vote on the Central American Free-Trade Agreement with the United States (CAFTA). Publication is slated for July, though it could run later, according to project director Manuel de la Serna Piñeiro.
