CIMA Hospital Celebrates Fifth Anniversary

THE private CIMA Hospital is planningto celebrate its fifth anniversary witha series of special events next week.The hospital, located in the westernsuburb of Escazú, plans to take the opportunityof the upcoming festivities to “educatethe community on a wide array ofhealth-care issues and available services,”according to hospital director AlfonsoChapa.Among the events planned are a birthdaycelebration next Wednesday at 3:30p.m. honoring children born at the hospitalfive years ago, and a lecture Thursday at7:30 a.m. entitled “The Future of Medicinein the 21st Century,” by Dr. Carl Couchfrom Baylor University in Dallas, Texas.The activities are open to the public.For more information, call 208-1197.
