Gisele Bündchen’s Costa Rica Dinner Date Attracts International Interest

Gisele Bundechen could be considered one of Costa Rica’s top goodwill ambassadors for the international attention she generates while visiting the country.

The Brazilian supermodel and businessperson has been visiting Costa Rica for many years. This year she has spent a lot of time in the country while rumors swirled about her break up with husband Tom Brady, the legendary NFL quarterback.

The couple owned a home together near the popular beach town of Santa Theresa in the Nicoya peninsula.  The home reportedly will be kept by Bündchenas part of their recent divorce settlement.

Santa Teresa has long been a favorite stop for surfers and visitors looking for a unique piece of paradise. While the beach town is not the easiest place to get to in Costa Rica, most everyone will say it is worth the effort.

Recently, the paparazzi spotted Bündchen having dinner at a local restaurant with another gentleman. The tabloids, including Page Six, report that he is her former martial arts instructor. The attention once again highlighted the Victoria’s Secrets model’s appreciation of Costa Rica.

While locals respect her privacy, her fame and that of her ex-husband has drawn the attention of the international press for some time. Most Costa Ricans know who she is but treat her like any other guest to our country and want her to feel at home here.

Hopefully she will be able to continue visiting Costa Rica while she embarks on her new chapter in life.

So, if you happen to bump into Gisele Bündchen while she is here, please just smile and leave her alone.
