Protecting and celebrating Costa Rica’s birds

This weekend, the Osa Conservation Area, Osa Birds and the Neotrópica Foundation are hosting the annual International Bird Festival in Puerto Jiménez, Golfito.

The festival will focus on reducing Costa Rica’s reliance on single-use plastics in order to protect birds and other wildlife.

The festival features several free family-friendly activities. There is a drawing station for children, a photography workshop hosted by Osa Photography, a migratory bird photography contest and the fan-favorite bird “marathon.”
