JetBlue Sale Has Cheap Fares and Hotel Bundles for Spring Trips to Costa Rica

JetBlue has started a limited-time sale that cuts costs for travelers heading to Costa Rica this spring. The airline targets U.S. departures with one-way tickets starting below $140 to both San José and Liberia airports. This move comes as demand picks up for seasonal getaways.

The promotion covers travel from April 14 to June 10. Bookings must wrap up by March 5 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Flights apply to Tuesdays and Wednesdays only, with no options from May 21 to 26 due to high-traffic periods. Prices include taxes but shift based on seats left.

From New York’s JFK, one-way to San José starts at $138 for dates like April 17. Orlando flyers pay $129 on April 15, while Fort Lauderdale offers $113 on May 11. For Liberia, New York tickets begin at $139 on April 24, and Fort Lauderdale at $109 on select days. Boston routes to Liberia hit $168 on April 13.

JetBlue pairs these with hotel bundles through its vacations site. Packages drop flight costs by up to 50 percent. Add promo codes by March 5 for extra cuts: HELLOSPRING25 shaves $25 off totals over $750, HELLOSPRING300 takes $300 off between $4,000 and $6,999, and HELLOSPRING500 applies to $7,000 or more.

A sample package from New York to San José covers flights and four nights from $282 per person in May. Similar deals for Liberia start around $340 per person for comparable stays.

The sale fits broader patterns where airlines boost access to Costa Rica amid recovery in tourism. Direct service from key U.S. hubs like New York, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Boston makes entry straightforward. Costa Rica draws visitors for its beaches, national parks, and wildlife, with Liberia serving the Pacific coast and San José the central valley.

JetBlue extends similar offers to other Central American spots, opening paths across the region. In Guatemala City, fares from New York dip to $145 one-way in spring dates. Belize City sees $150 from Fort Lauderdale. San Pedro Sula in Honduras offers $130 from Miami-area airports.

These routes support regional links, with JetBlue adding Honduras service late last year. Guatemala and Belize focus on cultural sites and adventure, while Honduras provides coastal and inland options. Packages apply here too, with codes for bundled savings.

Travelers check jetblue.com or jetbluevacations.com for exact routes and availability. Standard rules cover bags and changes. This sale gives a window for planning before summer rates climb.
