The Costa Rica women’s national soccer team will face the United States in Jacksonville, Fla. on Nov. 10, the U.S. Soccer Federation announced Wednesday.
The match will mark the U.S. soccer team’s final appearance of a historic 2019 after it won a record fourth World Cup title during this year’s tournament.
Costa Rica did not qualify for the 2019 World Cup, held in France, after La Sele finished third in a regional qualification group that included Canada, Jamaica and Cuba. In September, Costa Rica finished third in an international tournament held in Brazil.
The United States has won each of its 14 games against Costa Rica. La Sele’s most recent matches against the U.S. women include a 4-0 and 5-0 defeat, both in 2016.
The Nov. 10 match against the U.S. will be held at TIAA Bank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars. It will be aired in the United States on ESPN2 and TUDN.
Tickets will go on sale to the public Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. ET through ussoccer.com.
