Live Costa Rica election results

April 14, 2014

Polls in Costa Rica closed at 6 p.m. after a festive day of voting across the country. More than 3 million Ticos – including 12,600 Costa Rican expats living abroad – went to the polls to select their next president, two vice presidents and 57 lawmakers. The Supreme Elections Tribunal began releasing preliminary results at 8 p.m. Here are some of those results. We’ll be updating the numbers as they come in.

Update: TSE is not currently reporting results by canton. Those results will be posted when available.
