Ticket prices announced for Bob Dylan concert

Music promoter Evenpro announced Tuesday the prices for Bob Dylan’s first concert in Costa Rica.

VIP tickets will cost ₡75,000 ($150) and grandstand tickets ₡44,000 ($88) for the May 5 show at the Palacio de los Deportes, in Heredia, north of San José. Evenpro announced a 6,000-person capacity for the performance.

For AMEX cardholders, a special pre-sale runs from Wednesday through Friday, and another pre-sale for Credomatic clients goes from Saturday to Monday. Tickets go on sale for the general public next Tuesday through www.specialticket.net.

The concert is part of a Latin America tour that includes dates in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. Dylan, 70, has never performed in Central America before.
