Donations sought for Boruca Christmas party

This year marks the 10th annual Boruca Children’s Christmas Party in the Southern Zone. What started 11 years ago as a meager attempt to bring a little pleasure to a few kids in the indigenous village of Boruca soon evolved into a full-blown party for 300 kids with the support of a few friends and family. This year, 350 kids will receive a visit from Santa and his helpers, along with a gift, lunch, soft drink and ice cream. Donations in any amount would be appreciated to help make this possible. For more information, call Donna or Daryl at 2787-8262 or email shelterfromthestormcr@gmail.com.
