Escazú’s Henry’s sports bar opens in new location

In its seven-year history on the second floor of a random shopping plaza in Escazú, Henry’s sportsbar became a hot spot for suburban nightlife.

In the bar’s new location, just north of the Paco Plaza, Henry’s owner more than quadrupled parking space move to a complex. The bar, which had its grand opening last Friday, also has an outdoor deck space.

Asked about the move, owner Henry Hane said he was looking for a space that was “bigger and better” and that would solve some of the issues of overcrowding.

“This is Henry’s relaunched,” he said. “With the open-aired deck and several rooms, we hope to accommodate more people and to give them a more pleasant experience.”
