Canadians Give Thanks
The Canadian Club of Costa Rica is organizing a Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Centro Diurno Adulto Mayor in San Antonio de Belén, west of San José. On the menu will be turkey with all the trimmings, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots and pumpkin pie. Tickets cost ¢10,000 (about $17) for members and ¢11,500 ($20) for nonmembers (¢5,000/¢6,500 for kids), and may be purchased at the Association of Residents of Costa Rica office at Casa Canada in San José (Av. 4, Ca. 40, 2233-8068, 2221-2053) or at the Out of Bounds Hotel and Tourist Center in the western suburb of Escazú (1 km west of La Paco, across from Taj Mahal restaurant, 2288-6762).
