Legislative Solution Needed For Racism in L.A.

Dear Nica Times:

Regarding the article “Disco’s Door Policy Sparks Race Debate” (NT, Feb. 29): President Hugo Chávez, Jesús ‘Chucho’ García, Venezuela and the rest of the Americas must observe the case of Señora Brigette Boudier in Nicaragua.

Señor García has proposed laws against prejudicial behavior in Venezuela without success.

Legislative remedies and harsh penalties will advance the causes of equal justice in the Americas.
