Panama Arrests Colombian Cartel’s Communications Chief

PANAMA CITY – José Nelson Urrego, 53, the communications chief of Colombia’s Norte del Valle drug cartel, was arrested here over the weekend on money-laundering charges, the Panamanian National Police said.

According to the initial investigation, Urrego presumably used two Colon Free Zone companies to launder drug money.
