TACA Announces Special Rates for Excess Baggage

TACA airlines is offering a specialrate for excess baggage until June 15.The promotion applies to all flights toand from Central America, Los Angelesand San Francisco, California, accordingto a statement from the airline.During the promotion, passengers cancheck pieces with up to 140 pounds ofcombined weight for the first two pieces,one of which will be transported as“standby” and delivered to passengerswithin six days of the flight.The airline is also offering a 50%reduced extra-baggage charge: $50 forany additional piece, with no limit on thenumber of excess pieces.
