All that German jazz

Germany’s acclaimed Frederik Köster Quartet – trumpeter Frederik Köster guitarist Tobias Hoffmann, Matthias Akeo Nowak on upright bass and  drummer Ralf Gessler – is one of the international acts set to perform tonight in downtown San José’s Parque Morazán to open the long-awaited Transitarte festival. Throughout the weekend, Transitarte will feature a total of 72 artistic shows and activities in the following San José public spaces: Parque Morazán, Parque Jardín de Paz, Parque España, the National Culture Center (CENAC), Parque Nacional, Paseo de las Damas and the space outside the Supreme Elections Tribunal.
