New online store offers all things ‘pura vida’

If you’re a tourist about to return home and are trying to figure out how to stuff all that Salsa Lizano into your suitcase, guess what – you can now order it online and have it shipped back home, thanks to a new online store, www.costaricanstore.com.

In fact, you can order it in three different sizes – 700 ml, 280 ml and 135 ml. We’d go with the biggest one. You can never have too much Salsa Lizano.

Operated by expat Chantal D’Larenti, CostaRicanStore.com offers many products, including coffees, sweets and cakes, creams and soaps, recipes, pottery, jewelry and more. And they ship worldwide. As she says on the site, “the Costa Rican Store lets me share a little of Costa Rica with you.”

D’Larenti also acknowledges that the bureaucracy here can be a little challenging, so she promises to “work hard to ensure that everything comes to you quickly directly from Costa Rica.” That’s what we call added value.

To see her products, visit the store online or call toll-free: +(866) MY-TICOS (866-698-4267).
