Tourism Job Fair Held in Guanacaste

IN an effort to bring together potential employees with employers, tourism-related businesses will fill Mall Centro Plaza Liberia, in the northwest province of Guanacaste’s capital, for the Second Annual Tourism Sector Employment Fair, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1-2.The fair is sponsored by the National Training Institute (INA), the Ministry of Labor, the Association of Costa Rican Professionals in Tourism (APROCOT), the University of Costa Rica (UCR), Universidad Nacional and the Guanacaste Tourism Chamber, all of which hope to help unemployed and underemployed people in Guanacaste and serve the needs of the region’s businesses.Visitors are encouraged to give their resumes to companies for which they would like to work.
