Nature Air Flies to Limón for Carnival

Costa Rican airline Nature Air is offering a special flight to the Caribbean port city of Limón in celebration of the region’s carnival, which began yesterday and runs through Oct. 22, according to Nature Air accounts executive Ana Yancy Elizondo.

The flight leaves San José Oct. 21 at 8 a.m. and returns at 5 p.m. The $60 ticket includes taxes, transportation to and from the carnival grounds and a seat at the grounds. To reserve a space, call 299-6000 or visit www.natureair.com.

The airline is also gearing up for several new flights scheduled to begin Dec. 1. Nature Air will begin flying daily to and from San José and Limón, to and from San José and the Panamanian Caribbean destination of Bocas del Toro, from Limón to the northern Caribbean town of Tortuguero and from Tortuguero to San José.

Additionally, Nature Air will fly from Bocas del Toro to the Pacific port city of Quepos, from the Southern Zone city of Puerto Jiménez to Bocas del Toro and from Tamarindo, in the northwestern Guanacaste province, to Bocas del Toro.
