Kolbi offering contest to win new cars for Christmas

Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE) and its brand Kolbi are offering their customers a chance to win one of 17 new 2012 Nissan cars during this holiday season by playing the “Play, Win and Learn with Kolbi” trivia game.

Prepaid and postpaid Kolbi customers are eligible to participate and win one of the vehicles. To enter, customers send a text message with the word juego (play) to 8888, and you will receive a text message with trivia questions. ICE said that each time a participant sends a text, he or she will accumulate a point, whether or not the trivia answer is correct. The more trivia you answer the more chances you have of becoming a finalist for the car. Each text message sent costs the user ¢623.20 ($1.24).

Every two days, ICE will hold a drawing to announce the name of a possible winner on channel 7 during the 8 p.m. program. But before securing the vehicle, the person must correctly answer additional trivia questions via telephone.

The contest began on Wednesday and will run until Dec. 29.  For complete rules and regulations, visit www.kolbi.cr.
