119 kilos of cocaine found at Limón dock, hidden inside balloons

Costa Rican police discovered more than 100 kilos of cocaine Sunday hidden in a container on a dock in Limón, on the Carribean coast.

The Public Security Ministry said 119 packages of cocaine were found vacuum-sealed inside balloons of various colors. Each package contained  approximately a kilo of cocaine. No arrests made.

So far in 2012, Costa Rican authorities have seized more than nine tons of cocaine, according to official figures.
