Expoferretera coming to Belén on Friday

Expoferretera, the annual all-things-hardware and automotive exposition is coming to the Centro de Eventos Pedregal in Belén in Heredia, north of San José, this Friday June 1 through Sunday June 3.

Organizers of the even expect more than 80 construction, hardware and construction materials businesses to set up more than 200 stands in the 5,600 square meter Pedregal Center.

Now, in its 14th iteration, Expoferretera is the hardware and construction supply industry’s largest exposition in Costa Rica. Companies that deal in construction supplies across Costa Rica will be on hand offering everything from energy saving devices, organizational ideas, automotive products, electrical supplies, construction tools, painting accessories, to security systems and more. Activities include a concert featuring different Latin dances on Saturday night, a mechanical bull, crafts for kids, product demonstrations and a foosball tournament as well as car exhibitions, an airbrushing demonstration and a vehicle accident simulator.

Doors will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Entrance is ₡2000, but those who register online at www.expoferretera.com or by texting to 2231-6722 extension 146 or 123 will receive a code that, when presented at the gate, will allow them free entry.
