National Stadium inauguration generated 50 tons of trash

The Municipality of San Jose sent a press release Tuesday stating that workers collected 50 tons of trash from from La Sabana Park after the inauguration of the National Stadium on Saturday night.

An additional 20 tons of garbage were removed by city officials and a private company from the routes that marked the International Marathon held Sunday in the same area, including Paseo Colon, Avenida Segunda, La Sabana and Rohrmoser.
