Limón rocked by Costa Rica’s second earthquake in two days
A tremor with a magnitude of 4.8 was felt in Limón on Sunday afternoon, according to the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI).
The earthquake struck at 4:09 p.m. 20 kilometers off the Caribbean coast. The quake’s impact also reached Turrialba and Sarapiquí. So far no damage has been reported. On Sunday morning, an earthquake was recorded off the coast of Quepos on the Pacific coast.
