Newsflash: Earthquake hits Costa Rica

An earthquake hit southwestern Costa Rica in the Golfo Dulce near the border with Panama. No injuries have been reported, according to the University of Costa Rica´s National Seismological Network. However, measurements of the quake´s magnitude as reported by different earthquake research centers are showing large disparities, ranging from 5.5 to 6.3.
