6 Killed, 20 Injured in Bus Accident in Nueva Segovia

MANAGUA – Six people were killed and 20 others injured when a bus rolled over Dec. 23 in the northern department of Nueva Segovia, on the highway between Quilali and La Palanca, near the border with Honduras.

The accident was allegedly caused due to brake failure, according to preliminary reports.
