Gas Prices

The Public Services Regulatory Authority (ARESEP) has approved an increase in the price of gasoline.

The price of regular and super gas will increase ¢51 ($0.10) per liter, from ¢453 ($0.90) to ¢504 ($1.00) for the former, and from ¢475 ($0.94) to ¢526 ($1.04) for the latter. In addition, diesel will increase from ¢326 ($0.64) to ¢344 ($0.68) a liter.

The prices will go into effect the day after they are published in the official government newspaper La Gaceta, expected today.
