Diana Krall Jazzes Up Christmas

CANADIAN-born jazz singer Diana Krall has put out an album to jazz up the holidays: “Christmas Songs,” a hip sleigh ride that jingles its jazz credentials proudly and revels in echoes of jazz greats Nat “King” Cole, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie and Rosemary Clooney.

The album combines the talents of renowned musicians John Clayton, Anthony Wilson, Jeff Hamilton and Bob Hurst with Krall’s celebrated vocal stylings, in Christmas classics such as “Let It Snow,” “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” and “White Christmas.”

The CD is on sale now at music stores throughout the country.
